As you can see from the enclosed photos, the stray that your adoption placed with us, now known as McGraw, is functioning in a state of constant ecstasy! He has endeared himself to all of the household humans (4), felines (2) and canines (1 large black lab).
I know one of his (and our) primary sources of joy comes from his being in physical contact with one of us at all times— though first place still goes to his full food dish. Seriously, he is affectionate, fastidious about using the litter box, and both friendly and tolerant of the other house pets. He is a perfectly purr-fect addition to our home. Curiously, I can’t say whether we humans did him a favor by inviting him into our home or he has done us the favor!
We truly appreciate your kindness and thoroughness as regards his good health in rescuing and placing him in our home. Our vet was surprised and delighted to find a stray so thoroughly provided for in terms of his health needs before his adoption! Thank you again.
You’re doing the community of both people and animals a wonderful and responsible service.
Sincerely,
Lionda and Robert Samek
Words from Nancy T.
What to say about Cherie? She is as beautiful inside as she is outside. She has the biggest heart on anyone I ever met. I adopted a rescued Walker hound, Highway Heidi, the skinniest dog I have ever seen, who lived.
She and my cat play tag now. She runs and leaps in the air just for the sheer joy of living. She is very picky though. She likes beaf treats only, not beef and cheese or even bacon. She very politely walks away after giving you a look that says “why did you bother buying that?” She grins at you when you have the proper treat. She is very gentle.
Cherie gave her trust in people by taking her home with her and letting her know she is an important, good, valuable dog. I thank Cherie forgiving me the chance to adopt one of her Angels.
