We forget... That warm cuddle.....warm eyes that watch our every move, making sure we are safe, wanting nothing more than to please us. The pure joy that wags their entire body when they see their "person". Unassuming, unexpecting, four paws and a heart. But we do...forget.
We forget that they do need love, food and a gentle carress even when they don't belong to us.

Fat Boy!
Like the motorcycle. I am approx. 4 years old and a complete lover boy. I love belly rubs and going for walks. Oh did I mention I only have 3 legs but that doesn't slow me down any.
Josie
Josie is a young spayed female lab/retriever mix. She is up to date on vaccinations. She would make a wonderful family pet!
Cash & Tango Tango and Cash (brindle)
are both sweet boys who
are current on vaccinations and both neutered.
Look at those precious squishy faces.
Misty Here is our shy dog Misty. Misty is a Walker hound...she is spayed, current on shots, and weighs about 45-50 lbs. We are guessing she is also around 2 years old. Misty will require a family that will have the patience to allow her a little time to get to feel comfortable with her new family...
Lilly
Meet Lilly...an older spaniel mix...age unknown (6+ yrs old?) missing some fur at rear end (flea allergy)...SWEET and very well housebroken...any older couples out there that would adopt and love Lilly?
Diamond
Diamond is a passive female pit bull terrier who is just 10 months old. She is current on vaccinations and spayed. She would love a couch to cuddle up on and a family to call her own.

Jaiah is an enthusiastic but sweet girl who is still young. We think maybe a boxer mix. She came in battling whip worms and being completely emaciated. She is still being treated and has to be monitored for any signs of weight loss. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s household!
Forest
Is a poster child for Pitbull Terriers…He is so friendly and totally okay with all the cats and dogs he has encountered at the Angels Have Whiskers Farm…He is just happy as can be to have been rescued by us …since he was dropped off in a wildlife management area to fend for himself! He is so incredibly gentle he would make all PBT haters croak! He walks right past our kitties and right past our dogs...without even a sniff....it's almost hard to believe how mild mannered and friendly he is...After all...most dogs want to investigate and claim their rights...This one is just happy having a soft bed, good food, clean water and kiss on the head! Imagine how happy he’ll be to have a family of his very own! He is a new intake but will be neutered and have shots before he goes to his new home.
Tigger

This handsome boy was rescued after being dropped off to fend for himself in a cemetery! …(we were told he had a sibling with him…but neighbors believe animal control picked him up)…this little guy has turned into a big handsome boy and is happy and energetic but ‘out of control’…friendly …and just gorgeous to look at…just look at his tiger stripes…! He may have been a previous shelter dog as it appears that he has already been neutered…This time around he needs a family who can make a forever commitment and mean it! He would be perfect for a family with children to run off some of that harnessed puppy energy.
Sampson
This beautiful fella is one big Couch Potato! Sampson is a large male dog..he is neutered and up to date on shots...when he came to us he was dying of heartworms...he went through the full heartworm treatment over a year ago successfully! This beautiful sweetheart is an older dog...probably around 7 or 8 years old..but still deserving of a family to love!
Here's our sweet fella, Sampson, licking his chops...and his kennel companion, Nina Bonina Banana in the background. Apparently he liked the dog biscuit and Nina is totally bored with both the dog biscuit and this photo session!
By the way...you can see that whoever did the horrible home job of cropping his ears almost left him with nothing...shame on them whoever they are!
Itsy Bits
I'm not sure what seeds I put in this pot but it looks like I'm growing a cat! Actually Itsy bits has found a pot that wasn't being used and decided it would be a great spot for a nap! We have many, many...did i say many...cats and currently quite a few kittens at the Angels Have Whiskers farm...please contact us if your home could use a fabulous friendly feline.
Angel Puff
Angel Puff, our crippled calf, is kneeling and getting ready to eat her dinner of sweet feed.... she kneels on her front legs to give herself a rest from the strain as her right front leg suffered radial nerve and muscle damage and her left front leg is buckled from having to carry all her weight that the right leg can't bear. Despite her handicap she is a happy little cow and she spends her days counting butterflies and watching the kitties play....
